So I assume you are one of the million dudes who are waiting for the release of Apple's iPad, it will surely boast its unbelievable feature and will cost cheaper than other Apple products. Yup, Apple will sell iPad to its most affordable price, isn't that a great news? In fact, I am starting to save up for this...

Its design is just right for everybody, not so bulky and not so small. Just right to see web pages as they were meant to be seen, one page at a time. With vibrant colour and sharp text. Whether you’re looking at a page in portrait or landscape, you can see everything at a size that’s actually readable. Pants on the Gound song will invade the Grammys

Its "way to go", for Larry Platt, the one with "the pants on the ground", the song with a catchy tune? After I saw him auditioning in American Idol two weeks ago, for some reason it stuck up in my mind, unknowingly suffering from last song syndrome (lol).

Anyway, Gen. Larry's song became an instant hit or some said first viral hit video for this year, not to mention also became a frequent topic on social commentary sites--some liked it and some didn't but hey, now, he's going to perform on the red carpet/grammys, yes... he will!

Upcoming Movies to be Release in 3D format

As Avatar movie became amazingly successful on its release, now, there are 2 movies to be also released in 3D format. One is the two-part Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Its still unclear if author J.K. Rowling would say "ok" for converting Harry Potter movie into third dimension format, but hey, I would say "Please..... make it in 3D, I am so wanting to watch it in big iMax screen!" "Deathly Hallows: Part I" is set tobe release on Nov. 19, and "Part II" is slotted for July 15, 2011.

Another movie to be converted into 3D format is Clash of the Titans, in which I can say, the scenes will be superb. Warners will push back the release of "Titans" one week to April 2.

Must mark my calendar for the release date of these movies!

Longing to see a beautiful sunset...

Its a brand new week, but it started as a stressful day for me. Heaps of things to do in the office and so many things to worry about at home. Its not easy living alone in the city I must say... I can't help but close my eyes and hoping that when I open them, I can see the beautiful sunset in front of me.

Its always my desire to wake up in the morning looking at the sunrise, because it brings new hope for me, and at the end of the day, watching the beautiful rich colored sunset, because it looks so calm... it means time to relax, take a rest and prepare to face the new day. Well, its the opposite view I saw when I opened my eyes, its the busy streets and people rushing everywhere, although I can see the beautiful street lights, but it still makes me well so restless. I hope I can go somewhere maybe at the beach or camp near the lake.

Okay, I'm being emotional right now, but just having time to share my thoughts for now. So well, things aren't happening the way I want to be, but things will be much better than I assume.

So I call it a day, have a good night everybody!

Pay to view some movie videos on youtube

Youtube started to feature MovieSpotlights in partnership with Sundance Film Festivals! They are featuring the films from 2010 and 2009 Sundance Film Festivals. And you can access some certain videos by paying around $5 dollars and you decide if you want to purchase it. I saw some movie features in their site and most of them are good indie films. The partnership was done to test on how the users will respond to paid content on the site, and this could be a new revenue stream for the web video giant. USA Today said that the move is helping independent filmmakers find distribution avenues for their films. The movies will be shown without ads, which would be an aesthetic disaster for any director who chose to put his creation online.

Check out youtube site and choose your movie.

Photography Practice

I have new photos to share with you. Its my little friend Chiara who loves smiling at the camera. You know I can finally use Manual settings and not dependent to the pre-settings, for just less than a month. And yeah, there are still lots of experiments and practise to do until I get my best shot. Since I don't have much time to go somewhere, I took portrait photography last Sunday.

I used Aperture Priority settings for this photos, I like it because I made sharper image this time:

55mm - ISO 200
Aperture - F/6
Shutter Speed - 1/60s

38mm - ISO 200
Aperture - F/5
Shutter Speed - 1/60s

Watch out for my next project...

The Blind Side - An Extraordinary True Story

Blind Side is such an inspiring movie. I love watching movie that shows how harsh life is, yet something to cherish.

"The movie is about the story of Michael Oher a poor, oversized and under-educated teenager from a broken home. He is recruited by a major college football program where he is groomed into an athletically and academically successful NFL prospect. Was taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new invironment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle."

Its amazing to think that sometimes life brings us sorrow and hardships but for some reason, we are here to bring hope and inspire others.

This movie was starred by Sandra Bullock -- who won the Golden Globe, directed by John Lee Hancock.

Clash of the Titans

Well, if you notice I post about movies frequently this past days, it is because lots of movies I love are lined up to be showing this coming months!

In fact, here is another...

Clash of the Titans

Plot: Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

I remember this movie, this is actually a remake from the original Clash of the Titans movie back in 1981. After Sam Worthington's big Avatar project, now, he's doing the role of Perseus.

I watched the first movie when I was in elementary, I was amazed by it. I love mythical creatures...

Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Teaser Video

Here is the first teaser video of Deathly Hallows... I haven't read the books, so I don't know much about Deathly Hallows and really I must blame myself. I never got the time to sit in a corner and read. But well, I am really waiting for the movie.

For now, this teaser video is enough for now. Better watch out for more and the official trailer.

"See-Through-Goldfish"

Do you like having an aquarium full of variety of fish or a just a small bowl with a goldfish on it? Speaking of goldfish, here is something you should know and you might want one in your aquarium...

Ryukin is not your ordinary goldfish. It is a "translucent fish" created by Japanese scientists. The very reason why they created this is to eliminate dissecting. So if you found dissecting animals at your science class, you must be very thankful. This goldfish has an invisible scale, you can see its brain, heart and other internal organ while its alive. Isn't its amazing?! Ryukin goldfish was made by picking mutant hatchery goldfish with pale skin and breeding them together. This see-through fish will live 20 years and grow up to 10 inches long.

Blue Moon Eclipse

I talked to my mom a while ago, and since I wasn't able to celebrate new year with them, she told me what happened on New Years Eve. As usual, I missed the feast and the fun they had. She mentioned how beautiful the moon was... Its seldom to have full moon on new years eve. Then I read an amazing article about it with a photo of a beautiful moon, yet mysterious as ever.

It is said to be Blue Moon and a partial lunar eclipse, as the second Full Moon of December grazed the Earth's shadow on December 31st. The New Year's Eve Blue Moon eclipse was visible throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and parts of Alaska. Playing across the Moon's southern reaches, the edge of Earth's umbra, or dark central shadow, appears on the right side along with the prominent ray crater Tycho. At maximum eclipse, the umbra covered only about 8 percent of the diameter of the lunar disk.

The moon was so beautiful that it catches all the attention. And because it looks peculiar as well as amazing, it doesn't look like a usual full moon. But here is an explanation: It was the first Full Moon in December. Shining on celebrations of New Year's Eve, last night's Full Moon was the second Full Moon of December and so fits the modern definition of a Blue Moon - the second Full Moon in a month. Because the lunar cycle, Full Moon to Full Moon, spans 29.5 days, Blue Moons tend to occur in some month about every 2.5 years. Shining in the glare just above and right of December's first Full Moon is the Pleiades star cluster.

I never saw the moon last Dec. 31, and it really made me feel regretful because I never got to take photo of it.

Happy Birthday Sir Isaac Newton

I just noticed early this morning when I opened the google site there is an apple branch on top of the logo. I wonder what's this about. Well, google celebrate the birthday of a man with a brilliant mind--Sir Isaac Newton. Born on January 4, 1643. He was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian, in fact he is one of the most influential scientists in history. Newton showed that the motions of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies are governed by the same set of natural laws by demonstrating the consistency between Kepler's laws of planetary motion and his theory of gravitation, thus removing the last doubts about heliocentrism and advancing the scientific revolution.

He also built the first practical reflecting telescope and developed a theory of colour based on the observation that a prism decomposes white light into the many colours that form the visible spectrum. He also formulated an empirical law of cooling and studied the speed of sound.

In mathematics, He shares the credit with Gottfried Leibniz for the development of the differential and integral calculus. He also demonstrated the generalised binomial theorem, developed the so-called "Newton's method" for approximating the zeroes of a function, and contributed to the study of power series.

Newton remains influential to scientists, as demonstrated by a 2005 survey of members of Britain's Royal Society (formerly headed by Newton) and in 1999, leading physicists from all over the world voted Einstein "greatest physicist ever".

Newton was also highly religious, though an unorthodox Christian, writing more on Biblical hermeneutics than the natural science he is remembered for today.

So, why apple? Newton often told the story that he was inspired to formulate his theory of gravitation by watching the fall of an apple from a tree.
