Oh no .... I still, it's such an unfortunate even. I still have flu, can't sleep well and having severe sore throat. That's not it, my laptop hanged-up and I can't use it anymore. I have to take it to a technician tomorrow and I hope that it will not cost me a lot to pay for its reformat service.
I can't believe things are still getting worse :(
But anyway, on Saturday will be our last game for my team in our company's Women's Volleyball Tournament 2010. One more rival team to knock down then they'll be playing in finals. Hope we will win! Go! Go Team Lycans! I'll tell you more on weekend.

It's a rainy and gloomy Sunday. But anyhow, I am loving the rain, I love sleeping when it's raining.
How am I today?
Having colds and fever, poor sense of smell and partially deaf. That's me this weekend. I'm preparing to buy my medicines if in case I will have an asthma attack.
Early at noon, I saw some happy kids playing in the rain, dancing, chasing each other and enjoying the rain. I am so wanting to join with them. Too bad, I'm sick.

Rant mode & my first Night Photography shots
Okay, this busyness is really driving me nuts! I am thinking of so many things that keeps me bothering, I can't have enough sleep. You know what, I am planning to buy a house. Actually I am already eyeing on one but I still have to think about it if I can able to pay for it.
Then I'm also going to buy a new mobile phone. I prefer an affordable sony ericsson brand, that is wifi capable. Can you help me suggest of a good one? Thanks in advance, I really need a new phone. :)
*******
By the way, I was so tired last day and I feel sad. I don't know why, its just that maybe I am tired, busy and sleepless that made me emotional. I decided to go to Mall of Asia and take a candid pictures and catch the sunset. But I arrived there 7:00 in the evening so I wasn't able to catch the beautiful twilight, instead I saw a beautiful fountain at the back of the mall and became the subject for my photography.
Honestly, night photography is a big challenge for me. It is so hard to take a picture at night or in dark places using Manual setting or Shutter Priority unless I use a tripod. Take a look at these, my first night photography photos using manual settings:
I am still not good in setting the shutter priority to get a good lighting.
I tried few shots and these are I've got. Promise, I'll work on my night photography and will show you my new improved shots, soon.

Bicol Express for a cold rainy Sunday
Just last weekend I keep on ranting about heavy dark rain clouds that just stayed up in the sky and it won't pour a drop of rain... Now, we have plenty of rain! And in fact, I am, grabbing a cup of something hot to heat up my cold rainy Sunday. Even if its wet and messy to walk outside, I think I still have to thank the rain. See, the water dams are in critical state, it's drying up so quickly. It would not enough to supply the whole city, good thing it's raining again.
And speaking of raining, I have something to share with you. In my provice--Bicol, we frequently visited by typhoons and it always rains in that part of the country. So Bicolanos adopted the cold wet place by eating spicy foods. You know, spicy foods can make us feel warm. And rainy as it is today, I have a delicious Bicol specialty called Bicol Express.
It is made of pork, long chilies, coconut milk, shrimp paste or stockfish, onion, pork, and garlic. And I must tell you, we Bicolanos prefer this dish extra spicy. For its recipe you can check this link: Filipino Recipes and you can try making this sometime.
By the way, that photo above was taken when we went to Bicol (Caramoan Peninsula) last month. I promised to post about some great island foods, so this is one of the Bicol specialty that we enjoyed eating in the island. I feel like I'm home when I was there.
So, have a rainy, spicy Sunday!

What a weekend...
The heat is too much!!! I can't enjoy the weekend. It's sunny the suddenly there a dark rain clouds showed up and then it just stay and it won't rain and it makes the heat just trap in the air :( I wish it will rain to make the ground cool.
Weekend night is DVD weekend! I do some movie marathon the whole night since I can't sleep because its so hot. I missed to watch a lot of great movies in the theatre that is why I borrowed some DVDs to my friends and watched the whole night. I finally watched: Jumper, The Bounty Hunter, Jumper, Alice in Wonderland, Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia. Oh, I love fantasy and romantic Comedy movies, but I can't bare watching hardcore drama movies, I have here The Blind Side, but I still haven't watched it. It's a sad movie... Maybe I'll watch it some other weekend.
I'm sad I haven't done any photography these past weeks, I've been busy and stressed out again. But we(me & friends) have plan on having some adventure this coming weeks, maybe by the end of this month. I am excited to tell you about it.

It's another busy week, I was able to catch up my deadlines at work and because of that I still wasn't able to watch Toy Story 3, Eclipse movie and tonight it's Usher's concert. Oh my, it's all work and no good times... And piles of piles of dirty laundry is waiting for me on Sunday.
Happy Weekend everyone!

How bad is your neighborhood?
Have you experienced living in a crappy neighborhood? I've been living in different places/cities when I was studying and until now that I am working, I moved to a big city. I'd experienced living in a place where there are riots in the streets when I was on my way home, I have to run to a safe place so that I won't get hurt, there is also a gun shooting happened in front of my boardinghouse. Sometimes my neighbors throw their trash in front of my landlord's garage and they argue and fight. And just recently someone was trying to rob our things while we are sleeping. Gosh this place is full of adventure, feels like you are in an action movie scene every single day. I can't believe I was able to adjust to this kind of place...
Now, I want to go somewhere... to a safe place, where I won't have to worry or feel paranoid every time I'm walking on the streets. I just want to live in a nice place with a nice and good neighbors.
Hmmm, I'm just wondering, is there any safe place left to live this time?

Paranormal Activity II
There is a movie that's gonna give you the creeps this coming Halloween (October 2010). Paranormal Activity II, directed by Tod Kip Williams has a bigger budget and I think it's scarier than the first one.
Anyway, I hope I pasted the embedded code right. I didn't checked it because I can't finish the trailer, it's really scary. There is no baby in the crib, but try to see the reflection in the mirror, he's there standing, and the dog has no reflection in the mirror. Oh, did you saw the writings in the reflection of the mirror? Eeeekkk so creepy!!!! And I hate that rocking chair!

...is waving a white flag
When was the last time you said "I can't keep up, I surrender."?
Well, I say it almost every day, andit's funny because unknowingly I still keep on going. Things/situations are always being harsh and rude to me. I always found myself being in the middle of a messed-up situation and here I am again... tired and feels like quiting. I'm just wondering how long I could keep up and how far I could stretch my patience. It's just sad that people around me, who are suppose to be the ones to help and understand me, are the one who love to make things get worst.
What a life... **sigh**

St. Michael Parish Church, Caramoan Peninsula
This is a hundred years old church in Caramoan Peninsula, Saint Michael Parish Church. There are so many antiques churches or I consider this as one baroque churches in Bicol Region that was build in Spanish Colonization period. Usually church was made by volcanic stone, lime and bricks. Hundreds of native Filipinos were hired to build this structure.
The church has small statues/stone sculptures of the Saints.
St. Paul the apostle, together with St. Peter are the two patron saints of the Roman Church
Caramoan was founded by a 60 year old zealous missionary, Spanish friar Francisco de la Cruz Y Oropesa in the year 1619. The Priest found a small settlement in a place called Baluarte and this settlement was turned over to the administration of the Holy Bishopric in 1696.
