Nikon D3000 - Newest entry-level DSLR

Nikon D3000, is the latest compact DSLR for beginners. It inherits the 10.2 MP DX-format CCD sensor and 3fps continuous shooting rate from the D60. This model is in between the model of D60 and D5000. Just like D60, it has no live view and no auto focus motor. But the good thing about this is it has a larger, 3.0 inch LCD and the 11-point AF system with 3D tracking we saw in the D5000 and D90. I read its review and I am considering this one to be on my lists.

D3000 is designed for anyone who wants to take pictures without worrying about settings. You can select from a choice of subject parameters and the camera will do the rest, and the instant response time means you never miss a moment. The 11-point auto focus system ensures everyone is in focus, and the bright viewfinder means you get what you want, when you want it.

For now, this product cost roughly $599 but I think the price is just right for its features. Now, I am weighing Nikon D60 and D3000, of which one I should choose. I still have to make sure the unit will fit and feel good to my hands because I will use it more often for my photography lesson.

Nikon D5000

I've been looking for an SLR few months ago, at first I decided to get a Nikon D60. Its is good for a beginner like me. The price is right, it is designed specially for beginners and most of all, it fits on my small hands. Of course its important to choose a SLR that is comfortable for the user's hand, it will be used for a long hour. But being smaller in size, D60 has some limitations like in lens, it has less compatible lenses.



Not until, Nikon released the new SLR model for beginner, Nikon D5000, early this year. Wow, it is an upgraded Nikon D60 but just like a smaller version of Nikon D90. It also has a liveview screen while D60 doesn't have. It also has more features that D60 don't have, but I can't go much further with the technicalities here...

Anyway, I am confuse on what should I buy now, Nikon D60 or Nikon D5000. It has a big difference in the price, and one thing I am considering is the size of D5000, it is bulkier than D60. What I am feeling now is being excited having my first SLR :)

Michael Jackcon visits Neverland for the last time?

CNN crew was at Michael Jackson’s former home, Neverland, broadcasting a tour of the house. As the reporter is showing the audience around the estate, a shadow clearly moves across the hallway! Is it Jackson’s spirit, forever imprisoned in Neverland?

The video is edited just to show the part of where the shadowy image appeared, its creepy, some said its not real, that its from the shadow of some crew walked across the hallway, but for me, i think its something paranormal.

Nikon P90

I went to the mall earlier today and my eyes caught this beautiful, so elegant looking compact digital camera. Nikon P90 released early this year (January). It has a super zomm - 24x optical zoom, its a superzoom, for compact camera. Small camera with 12.1 megapixel, 3-inch wide LCD and has auto and manual features. Im impresses by its continuous shooting mode at 15 fps. It also offers 35mm-equivalent of a 26mm wide-angle to a 624mm telephoto and is capable of shooting pictures as close up as 1cm.
