Sagada Adventure - Day 1

We went to Sagada last first week of this month. Sagada is in the northern part of the country, in the Mountain Province. This place is famous for trekking, spelunking, and other outdoor activities. Although I suffered severe body pain because I am not used to walk for a long hours, climb up and down the cliff, hills, and including exploring the caves, I enjoyed my whole time while I was there.

One thing I love this place is the weather and the Pine Trees! When we are there, the weather reached as low as 9degrees early in the morning and about 14-15degrees at night. I love cold weather!

It was a 6hrs bus ride from manila to Baguio and another 6 hrs bus ride from Baguio to Sagada Province. We arrived the town proper at past noon and as soon as we reached our Inn, we hurriedly ate our lunch and get ready for the first day adventure. It was quite a cold and drizzly noon when we got there. The first place in our itinerary is the Hanging Coffins.

The sign going to Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins.

We passed by a Cemetery on our way.

One thing I noticed is that, people in Sagada use pith wood instead of candles when they visit their dead relatives.

Going to Echo Valley.

We walked for about an hour. Echo Valley is the home of Hanging Coffins. The name Echo Valley is literally means the "bouncing of sounds unto the walls of the Limestone Valley".

Enjoying the view of the valley before we stepped down to see the Hanging Coffins.

The Hanging Coffins

After going to Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins, we visited The Episcopal Church of Saint Mary the Virgin. Sagada has only Philippine town that is predominantly Protestant with almost 95% baptized into the Episcopal Church. They celebrated 100th anniversary last 2001.

It was raining when we reached St. Mary's Church. We decided to go back to our Inn, take a good rest and regained our strength for the next day adventure.

Earth Hour 2011

On Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 8:30PM, switch off our lights for an hour. Let's support this worldwide event. By doing this, we can show the world that are aware of what we can do to save energy.

Global warming seems to be an inevitable thing that's happening now, but somehow we can still do and commit to this kind of event to save our world.

Check Earth Hour website for more info.

Super Full Moon

I hope I could have some time tomorrow night to take a look at the beautiful moon. Tomorrow, we will see the super full moon, the moon is going to be 14% bigger than usual and it will bring extra-high "perigean tides" but there is nothing to worry about. The moon will be 356,575km from the earth, making it 7% closer than average. This phenomenon takes place once every 18 years or so, according to the scientists.

I think this will be a perfect time to grab your camera and take a great shot with this beautiful super full moon!

Post Birthday Party

I want to call this a Masquerade Party! This is actually a surprise birthday party for our friend.

We rented a private resort, in Pansol, Laguna. It is so affordable and had a great accommodation. We place a a pool, great 2 air conditioned rooms, 2 restrooms, our own kitchen, fridge and stove. We even have our own Videoke machine. This place just cost us P3,000.00 overnight!

We just bought junk foods, fruits and drinks. And we bought our dinner in "Binalot sa Dahon" Restaurant.

This is my favorite, Lechon Manok!

WE had a great time the whole night. We sing-a-long and had some games with prizes.

Planning for the Next Adventure

I am very happy that I finally had time for outdoors activities. Last week, we went for a 3 days and 2 nights adventure in the Mountain Province. It's in the north side of the country. I love our trekking and spelunking activities. And I find it so addicting. I'll tell you all about our last week adventure soon, I am just preparing all the photos and I will share them all to you. I was a bit disappointed because we missed the big bonfire and the sunset, because it rains every afternoon.

Anyway, here is our next plan. We are planning to go a minor hiking and over night camping in the nearby province next month. We decided to bring tarp so that we can build a bigger tent unlike the small dome tent.

It is very practical to use tarps it is thicker, light weight and versatile. Not only that, tarp, especially the Blue poly tarp have rust resistant grommets, heat sealed seams, rope reinforced hems, mildew resistant, rot resistant, waterproof, tear and acid resistant. I am planning to buy the blue tarp for our over night camping next month.

I am very excited and hoping it won't rain on that day.

Your HCG

One of the most concern of women is losing weight. We are all conscious about how we look every time we stepped out from our home. Because we want to look beautiful to everybody. But, its always been an issue for women to loss weight, as well as to maintain the body weight that they want, especially for women who work in an office who sit down for a long hours and requires less walking or moving. This kind of job is one of the reason why women tend to gain weight faster.

I myself, is having hard time to maintain the body weight that is just right for me. Although I used to walk my way going to work, it seems like walking is not enough. I have lots of things to do after working full time in an office and going to the gym is not on my list for now. The only thing I know that could help me loss some weight is to take some medications or supplements that is safe, very effective, and will not require me to do some exercise.

Just like HCG diet. This kind of diet treatment or method is really new for me, honestly. This is a great option when you want inexpensive and pain free kind of diet treatment. With HCG, all I have to do is to place HCG drops under the tongue six times a day and it can help lose 1 to 2 pounds a day without exercise!

HCG is really the answer for me, I must say. This is perfect for anyone who
is busy and had no time going to the gym.

Transformer 3 - Dark of the Moon [First Teaser Trailer]

I can;t wait for the Transformer 3! This looks so awesome!!! And oh, I am curious seeing this new "girl" the replacement of Megan Fox. She looks so hot! Well, of course they'll always going to choice a super hot gal for this movie, but this girl is a model and no acting experience. The name is Rosie Huntington Whitely.

Plot of Transformers 3 Dark of The Moon:
"The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime Transformers character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth."

A Time to Heal

This photo was featured in a University magazine. Scholars from Department of Science and Technology and Philippine Normal University asked my permission to use one of my photo for their school publications.

A Time to Heal is the title of the article. I took this photo last summer when I had a 1 week vacation in my hometown. The water is so cold and fresh. I miss my hometown and looking forward to go back home this coming summer.

Happy 1-1-11!!!

Oh crap, its been a while since my last update. I was busy doing my online job, I got 2 contracts, one is uploading products to an ecommerce website and the other one is data mining & data entry with google documents. I spent the remaining weeks of 2010 working 16 hours a day from Monday to Sunday. And, I can't believe how time flies!

Well, 2010 was a tough year for me, in fact the most challenging year for me. I started the year 2010 desperate and confused. But I never expected how things slowly changed. After summer things started to get better. I started to do the things I desire -- photography, started to travel and do some island hopping, I'm also got a part time online job! These things are just what I've been wishing to happen, and it is happening now! :)

This year 2011, I started it with lots of blessings!

My sister took a photo of me while I'm drunk.
