Island Hopping cont... (Caramoan Peninsula)
As I said, I'll tell you more about my island hopping...
I saw a weird plant with a fruit that look like a pineapple but color red.
and some of the rocks in Matukad Island has a mix of marble rock then the rest are pure limestone. Its not a usual view to see...
And here are the photos of the rest of the islands that we visited:
Kagbalinad Island
We passed by to this beautiful island on our way to Minalagos Island
Minalagos Island
Then we hopped in to our boat to go to another island:
And we came across this odd rock when we reached Busdak Island. its like thousands or millions of seashells were pasted to each other until it formed and became a big rock.
Busdak Island
That's the five islands we visited but there are more. We just had limited time, we suppose to do some kayaking, snorkeling and kayaking but we have work the next day. I think we are going back here next time and do the stuff we missed. There are no inhabitants in these islands, all you can see are limestones, birds, and sea snakes. Next time, I'll show you some of the best island delicacy that we ate. And I'll show you a picture of a hundred year old church in the Island.
To be continued further...

Caramoan Peninsula - Island Hopping
Last weekend Jun 20-21, me and friends went for an island hopping in Camarines Sur, Bicol. WE choose Caramoan Island because it is less crowded, not so far from the city and not that commercialized than Boracay.
First, Caramoan Peninsula is one of the "Secret Paradise remains unexploited from commercial tourism" in the Philippines where you can enjoy the picturesque view of the sunset, long shorelines, powdery white sands, limestone rock formations, crystal clear water, and abundant reefs.
We went to 5 islands.
Matukad Island
this is what we saw as we are approaching to the first island
******
as soon as we reached the shore, we jumped from the boat, ran along the shore, climbed the rocks and took photos
Lahus Island is the most famous from all the islands in the peninsula. It was featured in Survivor Show from four countries (Bulgaria, France, Italy & Romania) and this year, it will also be featured in Survivor Sweden.
We saw some men setting up a camp for the show and we are lucky that this island is open to the tourist on that day because some of the islands will be closed for the show.
Well, these are only 2 of the islands that we visited, but this is it for now I'll tell and show you more later, about the food that we ate, other places we went to, the presents I bought for my friends and more photos.

OH, I'm back at last! This week is such a busy week. After i got back from an Island hopping, I got a darker skin, and I was welcomed by piles of piles of work in the office. My body is still aching but I have to render overtime work to catch up my deadline, sigh... And my dirty laundry is still waiting for me to get done.

Terrified... Horrified... traumatized.... scared... This are probably the best words that describes what I'm feeling now, I can't sleep and I can hear my heartbeat beating so loud. I am starting to be afraid of the dark.
Last night, I went to sleep around past 1:00am. Just like me and housemate do, we just leave our window wide open so that the cool breeze can enter our room and we're not thinking of anything might happen because we are living at the 3rd floor of an apartment building, inside a compound.
So, like what I said, I went to bed around 1:00am, switched off all the lights and left the window wide open. Then I fell deep asleep. Suddenly I heard my housemate, screaming! Somebody climbed at our window grill and tried to grab my housemate's handbag. Inside her bag is her 15 days salary, cellphone and all her important belongings. I was so shocked. I can't scream or say a single word and trembling... I was so afraid.
But thanks God we're not hurt, my housemate was alert and was able to shout for help. Early in the morning we reported the incident to the Police. Now, it's night again, I can't sleep, I can't switche off the lights, my heart is beating fast, and i can't close my eyes. I am praying to God for our safety. I prayed that my fear will just just pass away.

Hopia! Hopia!!!
I received presents from my housemate who'd just came back from an island hopping last weekend. That is why I was alone and bored for the past 2 days.
She brought 2 boxes of hopia for me! Well hopia means a good biscuit and very popular Filipino bean filled pastry. It is a Chinese puff pastry and the cake dough type which uses a soft cookie dough similar in texture and taste to the wrapper dough for fig newtons.
First I got a box full of hopiang mongo, which is the most popular and cheaper, I guess. It is filled with sweet split mung bean paste. It is round in shape and flaky.
I also got a box of Hopiang Baboy(pork) which is filled with a bread crumb paste studded with candied winter melon, flavoured with green onions and enriched with candied pork backfat. This is actually the first time I tasted this pork flavored hopia, well it's yummy.

Enjoying the long weekend
Its a long weekend. Yey!!! I was awake the whole night watching movies and surfing the net. I feel tired and sleepy at around 5:00 in the morning, so I got some 3 hours sleep.
When I woke up, oh crap, there are piles of dirty laundry waiting to be done... Well, with eagerness and optimism, I finished doing the laundry before lunch time.
And because its weekend it's my turn to cook something for lunch and dinner. I cooked sauteed sardines in tomato sauce. Its one of my favorite and it is so easy and fast to prepare.
Here's how to prepare Sauteed Sardines with more tomatoes:
1 tbp. cooking oil
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
1 clove onion, peeled and minced
2-3 tomatoes (I still add tomatoes even I used sardines w/ tomato sauce, I love tomato...)
1 can sardines in tomato sauce (I used hot and spicy)
salt
Heat oil in a wok. Saute garlic until golden brown. Add onion, stirring often until softened, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes stir until it is half cook. Add sardines. Cook until sauce thickens. Add salt according to taste. Wait until it boils then remove from fire. Serve with white rice.
***
Anyway, I bumped into some awkward and funny shout outs today like:
"Justice! Lets put criminal in nursing home and Seniors in JAIL, so that they can access free meal, comfy bed, have a place to walk and free dental check-ups"
and
"Making love in the shower"
I also happened to see a small store that named "Human Trading"
and lastly, this is not funny but maybe awkward because I can't properly sign-in in twitter. It always says:
Gosh, twitter is so crowded already!

PMS?!?!
This week is such a crazy week! I didn't feel okay... I'm suffering from severe headache, dizziness, back pain, abdominal cramps, arrrggghhhh, I hate this!!! Yes, I'm having PMS and its really making me crazy.
Oh, I ate a lots of ice cream and chocolates yesterday, then more fried chicken today and I think I'm about to grab some fresh milk in the fridge...
Seriously, I hate it every time I have PMS, its the time that I can't understand myself. Sometimes I just cry for no reason, I feel depressed, anxious and not to tell you headache and cramps won't let me sleep for days. So, I always end up restless and irritable. My doctor just advised me to drink lots of milk. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Hmmm... I hope I feel better tomorrow. I'm having constipation, this time. :(

Alluring and Dangerous
When I went home for a vacation last summer one of the things on my lists is to take photo of the Mayon Volcano. But when I got there, it's rainy and cloudy, the tip of the volcano is not visible. So, I get back here in Manila without any photo of it. Now, that my friend went for a week vacation in Bicol, I told her to take a photo, for me and here is this alluring but dangerous view!
I call it alluring because its so beautiful and it drives lots of tourists around the world. You know, it's more beautiful to watch when its dusk and the lava is flowing on the side. Yes, its dangerous but you will be amazed to watch it... Despite the government's warning for the people to stay away from the danger zone, more people still choose to live close to the volcano because the soil is so fertile and it gives them lots of crops and fruits to harvest. That's why Bicol is rich in fresh vegetablea, rice and fruits. Because of the volcano, we are also blessed with to have hot springs, that has a sulfur content and it is good for the skin. It is mineral water and a natural cure for skin diseases.
By the way, I also have a picture of the volcano taken some two years ago. I took this photo days after its eruption.
See, the crack on the side? Mysteriously, even this volcano is so active that it always erupts almost every year, it will always go back to its perfect shape, just like it was molded again by a careful hand to make the tip perfectly shaped.

iVillage Entertainment News
At last its rest day again. I don't have much things to do today, so I'm just spending the whole time reading some stuff in the Internet. I love reading Hollywood news on weekends. Its the best time to catch some news that I've missed for the past week days. I have this favorite Entertainment news site that I always visit, its iVillage.
Here's what I got from iVillage Entertainment News. I got five news that I want to share with you.
1. The lists of Men Who Make Us Say 'Mmm': Sexy Spy Guys. Well, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise will always on the list. They are so gorgeous! But my favorite among the lists is Antonio Banderas, on his role as Gregorio Cortez in Spy Kids movie. Anyway here's the lists of Sexy Spy Guys in iVilage.com, you can check it out.
2. Today is the MTV Movie Awards 2010. I do checked out the lists of nominees and some of my favorite actors are nominated. Also, The Best movie nominated films are all my favorite! I'm hoping for Avatar or Alice in Wonderland to win. These two movies are the best. For Global Superstar Award, I'll go for Daniel Radcliffe. I hope he win. He did great in Harry Potter Movie and I'm such a big fan.
3. Miley Cyrus kissed a girl. What? Yes, she did it while performing in Britain’s Got Talent show last June 3. Well, she's only 17 years old and she said she was nervous because there are so many talented people around, but she did it!
4. Kristen Stewart apologized for saying the word "raped" when she commented on her photo taken by a paparazzi.
5. The last but not the least is Today's Featured Photos - Justin Bieber vs. Paul McCartney.
SO, that's it for now. You can go to iVillage.com for more entertainment news.

Cereals!
I've been so busy and today I just noticed that I've been eating a lot of cereals w/ fresh milk on dinner. I've been doing this since last week. I'm bad because I'm the kind of person who don't care about eating the right food and proper eating schedule. Sometimes I go for the whole month just eating McDonald's fried chicken (my favorite) w/ coke float, straight. I know its not good but I don't cook on weekdays so I'm a regular customer of McDonald's. Now, somethings changed, I eat cereals as my lunch and dinner. Hmmm, I think its not bad...
Anyway, I make sure I cook good food on Sundays.

I'ts June, say Hello to Rainy Days!
Time really flies! It seems like yesterday I am writing my lists of places and beaches to go this summer and when I woke up this morning, its already June!
It means:
1. Summer ends!
2. Hello RAIN!!! Rainy days is fast approaching. Well, rain is good, in fact I've been praying for the rain the entire summer because of this crazy scorching summer heat, but the rain in June is devastating. Making the city flooded and destroying crops. I hope it will not rain so much, just enough to make the place cool.
3. Rain makes a heavy traffic, road accidents due to slippery roads. Muddy and slippery.
4. My nephews will be complaining again about not yet ready going back to school. Surely will be very lazy getting up early on rainy days and they can't go out to play.
5. Not a good idea to travel.
Anyway, there are good things about June because:
1. Arriving late at work will be WAIVED--because most of the time, everyone will be caught in a heavy traffic because of heavy rain.
2. Jeans and flip-flops will be allowed at work.
3. My friend is going to get married this month. Oh my, it feels like she'd just announced her wedding date just yesterday! Now, she's freaking out because she only have few days of being single! I hope it won't rain on her wedding day...
4. This is probably the best thing that will happen, because I am going for an island hopping on 3rd week of this month!!! Then again, I hope it won't rain on that week.
